German English dictionary best translation tool App Reviews

This app does not pronounce German words correctly. It is an American computer-generated voice. Terrible. The dictionary is average.

I appreciate that this app is usable with early operating systems (less than iOS 6) because I have an old iPad. This dictionary is very comprehensive and easier than leafing through a print dictionary. I do wish it was more detailed and consistent about providing gender, plurals and other tenses. It would also be great if sample sentences were provided. Unfortunately the speech feature does not work--or I dont know how to get it to work!

Best dictionary

The pronunciation feature disappeared and app has become unreliable, it disappears from the screen for no reason; time for technical service and adjustment, maybe?

It is one of the greatest German-English dictionaries. I am surprised why it is not that famous. Users have to discover it!

I often find this dictionary has words that its more famous and expensive competitors ( think Collins and Pons and Duden) dont have...

Need this app to work use it to translate new vocab sheets please fix asap hasnt worked for at least last 3 versions

Hasnt worked since last update. Was the best app up till that point. Used for 2-3 months and had not 1 complaint. For me,crashes when open. Pls fix this pls. Was 5 star till this happened.

This is by far the best offline dictionary I have found. I actually prefer it to a paper dictionary as well. There are so many sentence examples to help as well as showing the different tenses of words. I would be lost without it!

Very useful, but the gender of the noun should be provided as this in an integral part of the German language.

The dictionary is great. Along with the audio which helps in the correct pronunciation.
