German English dictionary best translation tool App Reviews

This is a very good application. It is user-friendly, clear and easy to understand. Its history function (function to save all the words youve looked up) and trying to guess what you are typing in the search box are other good aspects. But it lacks a very important function: It doesnt tell you the Artikels of words! When I type "Katze", it gives the result "cat" but it doesnt tell that the Artikel of Katze is die. When I type German words, it again doesnt tell me its article, der, die or das. Anybody who is familiar with the German language knows that Artikels are crucial. Other than that, it is a great app! I would give it 8/10.

very useful app, however, i hope it have Partizip II of Verb in next update

Has the richest index and content out of any dictionary Ive ever used. Helped me get better in German a lot.

Just started learning German downloaded 12 or so apps this one so far is the best functions well and easy to use

Excellent for number of included terms; some in fact could be excluded, only because I was not looking for quite so comprehensive a lexicon. It includes many abbreviations and such, and that does somewhat slow my searching. Option to have the word spoken aloud is excellent. It would be better still if I could access the German pronunciation of a word I searched in English. Currently I have to then re-enter the German word I just searched for in English to get the pronunciation in German (if Im not sure of it). Also I wish it included the gender info (der, die, das) for nouns - this is my biggest frustration. But I like this app and use it every day for vocab building.

The platform is simple which is what I wanted, a substitute for a dictionary.

Excellent for reader like myself, who has some background in the language. Comprehensive. Another good dictionary from the Nguyen Van Thanh (and colleagues?)

I use this app along with the Rosetta Stone app. When I dont have time to fully engage the RS app I open this app. Love it!!!

This is a super useful tool to learn german.. It has got very good information about every word i need to search for in german, the best part is that it has an english to german part too, that way if you are searching for a specific word to translate it is a few taps away ! Thank you so much
